Charles Simpson and Joann Griffin founded Bridges to Change in 2004. Mr. Simpson spent over sixteen years in the addictions field prior to founding Bridges to Change and had a passion for working with corrections and re-entry. Ms. Griffin brought with her 9 years experience on a hotline for incarcerated individuals and a deep knowledge of the resources necessary for individuals re-entering the community to succeed. Both Chuck and Joann worked tirelessly for 11 years, taking what was once two mentors and one house and transforming it into 25 full-time mentors and over 250 clean and sober beds across four counties. They retired in 2015, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and passion.
